Impact and stories
What the work looks like from a student's side.
How we measure impact
We are a young organisation, and we would rather publish honest numbers than impressive ones. These are the measures we track from the first day of every programme, and they will be reported in full in our first annual report.
Reach
Students and teachers attending each session, by district and institution.
Completion
How many participants finish a course rather than only start it.
Learning
Pre- and post-session assessment of the skills a course sets out to build.
Outcomes
Internships offered, placements made, and enterprises started by participants.
From the classroom
Notes from sessions delivered with students in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Full student stories, with their consent, will be published here as programmes complete.
A full hall on a working day
Our career-readiness session in Bihar filled a college hall well beyond what we had planned for. The demand for straight, practical guidance on work and interviews is far larger than the supply of it.
Questions worth more than the lecture
The most useful part of our sessions is consistently the open question-and-answer period, where students ask what they were never able to ask anyone else about careers, applications and money.
Teachers as the multiplier
Where a teacher is trained alongside the students, the material keeps being used after our team leaves. This is why teacher training sits inside every school partnership.
Two batches, one campus
Several institutions asked us to repeat the same session for a second batch of students on the same day. Repeat demand is the clearest signal we have that the content is landing.
Are you a former participant?
If you attended one of our sessions or completed a training programme with us, we would like to hear what happened next. With your permission, your story can help another student decide to take the same step.
