Why your support matters

Shikshanova Foundation is a Section 8 company, which means no surplus can ever be distributed to members. Contributions fund the things that actually reach students: printed workbooks, facilitator travel to rural schools, training materials and the running of our skill development and placement programmes.

Donations to Shikshanova Foundation are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. We hold provisional 80G approval under Section 354, valid from AY 2026–27 to AY 2028–29. A receipt and 80G certificate is issued for every donation.

How to donate

Online donation through a secure payment gateway is being set up. Until it goes live, please contact us and we will share our bank details and issue a receipt and 80G certificate directly.

What a contribution covers

These are indicative costs from our own programme planning, not a fixed price list.

  • Student workbook set — printed material for one student for a full life skills course
  • One classroom session — facilitator time and travel to a rural school
  • Teacher training day — training materials for a group of teachers at one school
  • One skill-training seat — a place on a course that ends in placement support

Our commitments to you

A receipt and 80G certificate for every donation. No sale or sharing of donor details with anyone. A written account of how your contribution was used. Our audited accounts published on the transparency page each year.
